Yeah you've all guessed it, I'm at work and bored.

I saw this a while back and thought they might look great for a static display to show of a nice brake set up, BUT, no good for regular use because
a) cooling
b) cleaning
c) they look c**p

I hope its not a long shift ;)

The center is 1.5 or 2” polycarbonate, chemical hard coated both sides.

Probably stronger than most standard wheels.

But yes, cooling looks like it might be an issue.

That must have stung the wallet a bit. What style are you going for? would be nice to see a pic once you get them.

I've gone for standard clear centres (with a difference), but had then colour match a pink cushion we have at home (cost extra) for the bolts, and have also added some silver polka dots screen printed onto the clear discs...I think it's gonna look really classy!

The Citroen SM had optional plastic wheels (PC, IIRC) instead of alloys.

There's nothing really new, is there!
