Good luck but last time I wanted A022s I had to wait weeks for them to get shipped over from Japan. And I was going through the main distributor in MK. Hence I switched to Goodyear F1s this time.

You can get them from Dali in the US. I have just had a set of 4 shipped over at $1000 inc shipping

According to TyreMan the tyres are interchangeable, i.e. you can swap lefts and rights, the lettering is only on one side to aid the illusion!

Steve, I thought that they are directional (i.e. you can't swap the lefts and rights)?

Incidentally the OEM Yoko's I ordered arrived from Dali and look fine if you're still looking for a set. Cost was $1000 inc shipping for 4 tyres.

Or have you decided to go for bigger rims?

regards

Robin

Incidentally Damien, who did you speak to at Yoko UK to get them shipped from Japan? When I enquired they simply said that they weren't available full stop and couldn't help any further. Mark at Dali however came up trumps and with the $:£ exchange rate at present they aren't that much more expensive than some non OEM tyres bought in the UK

As far as I know the Bridgestone RE010 HO and the Yoko A022 HO's are directional and CANNOT be swopped from side to side.

Yeah as far as I knew each tyre was unique to a corner of the car effectively, the rotation mark isn't there for a laugh.

Robin - can't remember who I spoke to now, I got them ordered via a mate who works in the motor industry, and had to pick up at the depot. Anyway that was a good year or so ago, and even then supply of A022s seemed to be dwindling, maybe they've finally given up on them.

Looks like I'm going to have to swap!!! I've been advised to go for a full set of Continental Sport Contact Z rated. Anyone have these on an NSX?

How long did it take to ship over? Sterling is very high at the moment :)

Not long, about a week I think

I think I'll give him a call. Have you got a direct email for him? Or do I need to go through his website? Does the shipping include getting them dropped at a shop? Cheers Steve

Yes, but when you actually ring them they don't have the tyres. I tried everywhere including blackcircles, mytyres, Micheldever, even Yokohama UK direct and finally resorted to importing some from the USA via Dali! I don't think that there is anywhere to get these in the UK now unfortunately
