The provisional date for next summer’s Silverstone Classic is 21-24 July 2017

I'll try and look into that hotel thing I was talking about.

Some of us discussed the possiblity of having a "club dinner" on the Friday or Saturday night.

What do people think?

We could hold the dinner out side of Silverstone so people don't have to attend the Classic, or we can have it in one of the many hospitality rooms at Silverstone, or even have a BBQ (but that depends on weather).

I don't know what hotel you were talking about as I wasnt there but the nearest hotel to Silverstone is Whittlebury Park (we had a Sunday morning drive there last year). It has a motorsport heritage with lost of memorabilia. Lots of rooms, and a nice restaurant. Lots of parking for our pride and joys
