I believe there is a buyer premium of 12.5% +VAT to be paid on top of this (not sure if the VAT is just on the Buyers premium or the total price paid ).

The legendary Honda NSX (standing for New Sportscar Experimental) was developed by the Honda Motor Corporation between 1984 and its eventual launch in 1990, with major chassis and suspension input from three times F1 World Champion, Ayrton Senna. The NSX featured a state of the art 3.0-litre V6 'VTEC' engine (variable valve timing) and an all-aluminium monocoque body, encompassing a revolutionary extruded aluminium alloy frame and suspension. This made the car extremely light and extremely strong. Other game-changing features included 4-channel ABS brakes, titanium connecting rods in the engine and later in the model's life - an electric power steering system as well as an upgrade to a 3.2-litre V6 engine. The car was the first real Japanese 'Supercar', proving itself and quickly establishing respect from its key competitors. Production continued right up until 2005, with only subtle changes made throughout its life.
Offered here is a right-hand drive Honda NSX supplied new by Tokyo Honda, Aoyama Branch 2 in 1993 and finished in Silver with a Black roof and a black leather interior. This particular model houses the 270 bhp, 3.0-litre V6 engine mated to a 4-speed 'Sport Shift' automatic transmission. The service history supplied with the car is recorded at the following intervals; 04/1996 06/1997 04/1998 03/1999 04/2000 04/2001 03/2002 04/2003 04/2004 04/2006 05/2007 04/2008 05/2009 04/2010 04/2012 04/2013 04/2014 04/2015. The service in 2015 included a full major service and new belts. The condition of the car is said to be very good and this NSX rides on its original 5-spoke alloy wheels.
With the odometer now showing an unwarranted but believed to be correct 79,000km, this NSX has an MoT, and has been imported with taxes paid and a NOVA number granted. By the time of the sale a UK V5c document should have been issued. All the original driver's manuals are also present. This NSX represents fantastic value and is your chance to own one of the cult Japanese supercars of the modern era.

The estimate was £25-£30k.

Externally it needed some tidying especially the paintwork and had moisture in the centre rear H lens. Visually the only non standard part was the exhaust.

Hopefully this is the rear shot of the NSX

nuts, nuts, nuts!

I know all to well your frustration :(

Use this link, it's far less complicated and easy to use, although admittedly not as good an image as Jon posted.

I think the auction results include the full premium hence the odd sale amounts. Not a bad result for an Auto Import really. Silverstone always attracts the high end buyers, it likely looked very reasonably priced compared to some of the other sales figures. Definitely no bargains to be had from there!

Low-ish mileage but the paintwork definitely didn't look first-rate. Oh, and Jeroen spotted some silver overspray on the n/s/r tyre sidewall, and the n/s/f wheel looked to have been refurbed with the rim-clip left in place...minor things but suggesting of a refurb done on the cheap...nearly-full service history is a decent sign though.

So agree it doesn't sound like a bargain but probably not a rip-off either, certainly not if mechanically sound. Wonder if the new owner will come on here...
