Thanks for the links but I'm really looking to buy in UK as the shipping from US would not be worth my while.

you're joking right?

oem wheels in the UK tend to go for around £1000

in the US they are a a good chunk less and even with shipping costs of $250 you are still saving money over typical UK prices

add the fact that there are many many more available sets over there, your chances of finding a set for sale are 1 or 2 per month, compared with 1 or 2 per year in the UK.

I bought my wheels in the states and got them shipped over for $280 plus import tax as they were new, but still it wasnt much hassle, and saved a fortune over UK costs.

I didnt realise they go for that much! If thats the case then I might as well opt for aftermarket ones!

Huh?

Still don't get it, why would you buy wheels for a car you sold weeks ago...unless you had replaced it with another?!

Enlighten me then Paul

Like these!!

I was hoping to get them on today but the tyre company forgot to order the tyres, so hopefully Tuesday. Can't wait. At least they'll be on for JAE. :D

To bling for me James, tho I think they will look great on your red rocket!

Steven, watch this space! Hope you're enjoying the S2k.

They're not as bling as you think! In fact they'd look awesome on a grey NSX which I think looks a bit stealth to begin with.

Maybe when they're on, I'll try to get the car photoshopped grey on Prime.

Cheers,

James.

Have you sorted the tyres yet James? When will you have the wheels up and running?

Wouldn't mind seeing the results of the photoshop exercise. Think I'll either go Works in gunmetal or OEM 17" in silver or the 98 OEM color.

The wheels should have been on the other day but the tyres shop forgot to order them  so now it looks like Tuesday.
I've told the owner that if they're even breathed on wrong when fitting, I'll kill with extreme prejudice.
As soon as they're on I'll get them posted.
I think that when it comes to choosing wheel, it's a good idea to take your time. The wheels I finally picked were not on my original shortlist, but in the end they were my favourites. I think I was quite lucky to get them as some people on Prime have waited 6 to 9 months for Volks.

Cheers,

James.
