As Leeds Castle have decide not to have their venue available (see the 'not supercar seige' thread) the latest is that they are negotiating a new venue, at some time.....

from their latest facebook post....

This helps us support The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Children's Fund (https://www.facebook.com/rnrmchildrensfund/)which is the main focus behind any of our events. The team are currently negotiating a venue for a show this year.
With confirmation from most of the drivers, who have helped support our cause over the past 3 years, that they are willing to travel we hope to have some exciting news for them over the next few weeks.

so it's currently a mystery tour :)

latest from the supercar siege team from faceache, sorry, facebook....

Sunday 8th of May 2016 - Brands Hatch - Blancpain GT weekend.
We have been invited to partner up with this amazing event and we hope to do the prestigious sprint series justice.
We have a very limited number of spaces available for display cars and as such we are opening up a way for you to register interest. I hope to have a display of 200 cars on the day.
Due to the short time leading up to the event we will be asking for payment ASAP once your car has been accepted to attend.
The tickets available are at a reduced rate and 100% of the ticket money taken will go to the The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Children's Fund (https://www.facebook.com/rnrmchildrensfund/).
Drivers will be able to watch the following races taking place throughout the day:
Blancpain Sprint Series
MINI Challenge – F56
GT Cup Championship
GT Sports Club
If you wish to register interest please email Clubs@Supercarsiege.co.uk

just keeping you posted

That Blancpain event looks good, esp. if the hypercar trackday support event comes off...

...shame I'm on holiday that week! :(

just a quick reminder that at the BlancPain race at Bands Hatch, that the Supercar Siege guys have secured a show area!!!

as the spaces are limited, you have to send in an email and get individual entry, rather than a club entry! this is to ensure that 200 porsches don't rock up and make for a dull display! Ross was trying to limit each individual Marque to 10 cars, so the NSX fraternity have an advantage in the 'honda supercars' section.

(i'll be there in the hotrod, so a micro marque section!)

oh, and what blancpain is... http://www.blancpain-gt-series.com/

The weather is looking good for Sunday, the organisers were right so don't forget your sunscreen !

I'll see everyone there I'm aiming for 8.30 and hopefully Ross and his team will have us grouped together as they did last year.

and the black JDM
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn41/thisYup/nsx%20stuff/2016/WP_20160508_09_46_46_Pro.jpg

the owner, not the person cleaning the car i talked to, bought it last year....at auction..... with 6000km on it... for £40k..... so chances are it's the Silverstone classic one, black with ivory interior

http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn41/thisYup/nsx%20stuff/2016/WP_20160508_13_17_15_Pro.jpg

it now up to 19000Km so at least it's being used now!... he also owns 6 of the cars lined up behind it.... up to and including an F40....

Aston Martin had 2 Vulcans there, one on track giving a lucky few a taste of the passenger seat. it was on track with other super/hyper/ultra cars, and made them look like mondeos!

Did you here if Peter Dumbreck was driving it Jonathan? He's been one of the test drivers. I know him from back in Scotland when we were youngsters...

Great day, and the word "pilot" nicely sums up what this car really is, a true flying machine :)

you can get the forum hosted pics bigger if you right click the thumbnail preview, open them in another tab, and copy the stuff in the address bar and paste it between and

you basically upload it into your forum gallery, and then link to it. it takes a second visit to the post to get it bigger (first one to upload it, second to link to the big version!)

in Richards vulcan pic it'll look like

if you right click any internet picture, and use the 'open image in new tab', copy all the bit in the address bar and paste it between the [img] and forum commands you can post any pic!! a randomly picked picture from the web would look like

OMG!!!
Now that's what you called "slammed"!!!

Does anyone know who makes this fully adjustable suspension for the NSX because that looks fantastic and crazy???

Having said that being that low must ruin his undercar lighting effect don't you think???:)

Yes she did enjoy her day out although the heat got to her in the afternoon and we had to leave a little early.

All in all I felt it was fabulous and if we're free we will be coming along to the next one. The racing was fantastic, so I'm hooked.

from the siege team....

Team Supercar Siege are happy to announce that Sundays event managed to raise £6433.30 for The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Children's Fund.

Although this is just shy of our £7000 target, we know that the vast majority of people that attended the event were happy.
We would like to thank MSV Trackdays for donating all of the display passes for our cars. This enabled us to raise over £3000 from display pass donations alone.

Sporting Bears: The bears were supplying passenger rides throughout the day and the total donations amounted to just shy of £2000. The bears give up not only their time, but also pay for the insurance & petrol costs for the rides, so 100% of the money they raise goes to the charity.

Team Pink: The team were not only instrumental in organising in the lead up to the event, but also worked from 7am until the close helping marshal the event. Whilst not parking cars the team also manned the donation buckets and raised a total of £384 in donations.

Track Heroes: We had 4 people donate a large amount of money to take part in a track session with the likes of the McLaren P1 GTR and the intimidating Aston Martin Vulcan. I know they enjoyed themselves but we would like to say thank you once again for nearly raising £1000 between them.

Drivers: Once again we had the support of so many drivers, each year they keep coming back and we hope to continue to treat them to amazing days out going forward.

Please make sure you check out our next event, hosted at Brands Hatch on the 19th of June. Supercar Siege 2016: The Big One.

His F40 wasn't the one with the rather nasty oil leak and being looked at by a couple of Aston Martin mechanics then, as Pride discovered that owner was wondering if it would be ok to drive it to Bishops Stortford!

BTW The entrance marshall told me the NSX was his favourite car.............he might say that to every entrant though.

That would have been Jerry, the bald headed chap with the pink hi viz and his son, both great guys, and he meant it about the NSX as he's been waiting for me to sell my car for what must be well over 10 years now, they certainly make the difference when turning to this event, always smiling and very happy to see everyone. Unsung heroes tbh.👍👍
