Does anyone here know the spline count for the passenger side intermediate shaft ? Reading on nsxprime.com that the honda Legend might have the same spline count of 31 ?
I need to find the inner joint and tripod with the roll bearings.

is the legend inner CV joint cheaper than the nsx part?

I ordered the nsx inner joint recently and its $380 + $25 for the boot.

Where did you get the boot from? In the USA they are usually around $25. Assuming you mean the rubber boot kit?

A somewhat different question: the SM says to put grease in the intermediate shaft but doesn't say what type of grease. I could imagine that the normal CV joint grease is not the right one as the bearings are completely different. So the million dollar question: what grease to use? :)

Anyway: does it make sense to overhaul an intermediate shaft after 120k if the bearing still feels fine? It has maybe 0.5 mm play in it. Stories of them going bad are not that frequent. Opinions?

Thanks.

In the OEM CV join boot service kit there is a special yellow grease included.
Also the grease used isn't vastly different from any other cv joint grease.

The myth of Legend axles fitting is one that i have seen disproved at least 6 times (people saying so ordering and getting nowhere)
