Hello,

Just fitted the 'Smartenna' that Darren kindly supplied me with on Sunday. Went is a piece of cake - and works perfectly, to anyone who hates the 'radio controlled car' look when they have their CD player on it is a must!

Just thought I'd report back anyway...if you want proof it is required look back to that picture of me following the Gallardo taken by Simon in March...then it is a no brainer trust me  !

Regards, Matt.

sure, as per the answer in your wanted ad - http://daliracing.com/v666-5/catalog/index_browse_part.cfm?focus=96

and it's not an aerial, it's a device which keeps the aerial down when a signal from the cd changer is detected

I saved myself the money for a Smartenna by reversing out of my garage with the aeriel up and the garage door slightly down, snapped it off completely!

Never listen to the radio anyway...

....for info, instead of paying £350 to Honda for a replacement Ariel  , Dali do a repair kit for the mast and nylon internal.

http://www.daliracing.com/v666-5/catalog/index_browse_part.cfm?focus=1121

$43 well spent.

I found a brand new mast insert on ebay...

....granted, not alot of help here :?

also JDM has a 'half-height' button so it clears the door anyway!

Didn't the Hamster claim on TopGear that this was unique to the NSX-R as it reduced drag  I always thought that was a strange claim as the pure R comes without ICE anyway....
