I know this isn't NSX related but I thought a few of you might offer some support....

On Sunday 16th July 2006 I will be one of around 4000 cyclists setting off from Albert Square in Manchester to partake in a 58 mile journey to Blackpool in aid of Christies Hospital. Details of the event can be found on Christies website...

If you'd like to sponsor me or keep tabs on my humourous attempts at training (and the ride itself) then I'll be keeping an online diary here :-

Messages of support and encouragement are warmly welcomed (although sponsorship donations for such a good cause are preferred!!!)

Thanks,

~Phil

Hi Phil,

I ride a lot so if you want/need any tips on bike set-up or training, just let me know.

Cheers,

James.

Thanks James - I'm OK with the bike stuff as I ride regularly but I tend to mostly stick to local trails, hills and off-road terrain. My 'road riding' experience is somewhat limited and the furthest I've ever done is just over 40miles which I did last July in very easy conditions (good weather and flat roads!) so the next 8 weeks will be spent trying to build up stamina whilst adopting a steady\constant pace for covering long distance.

... I'm sure it'll be a laugh on the day!!! 8)
