I have seen some videos of these on 1/4 mile races on NSX Prime.

How hard will a Stock coupe 3.2 have to be modified before it can take an M3, m5 or a 355 at 1/4 mile?

I am just a bit curious as a relative is thinking of buying an M5 ( 99 / 00 ) and he thinks is the dogs.

I him adviced that I would rather used that money on an NSX, but the brandsnob told me that it was still a Honda

Would love to take him on a track if we both buy the respective cars  and show him what a Honda's tailights look like!

which m3 (3.0l or 3.2l) and which m5 (3.8l or 5.0l) are you talking about as there is quite a bit of difference between the engine output between the engine displacements on each car. m3 3.0l=289 bhp,3.2l=321bhp. m5 3.8=350+ bhp(i think) 5.0l=400bhp
my brother as owned three m3's a left hand drive e30,a 3.0l e36 and a 3.2 evolution which he currently ownes.he tells me that the 3.2 ia a fair bit quicker than the 3.0l and i have to say it is very quick.on the road i would say there is nothing between them,on the track, who knows?
just my opinion mind.

Ivor.

So you buy a car not a badge ...... works for me!

Besides - you have a supercar .... he will be buying a souped up family saloon!

Again - I know which I would rather have - the true sports car is what gets me.... not a german sales rep mobile (no matter how good a car - the drivers have a rotten reputation to live with! .... I believe the paper bag is on the options list along with the indicator stalk and off button for the front fog lights  )

Very true, but I'd still choose a Honda over a BMW any day anyway!

Ha ha ha  Too true, too...
