Same as me Paul, not into twitter face at all.

330D Touring is a superb car! Had one myself and absolutely loved it.

You'll be pleased to know its back in all its glory to Magnum Grey Pearl .... although Lime green was very tempting!

Ahh back to original, I still remember you arriving at Japfest when it was white, and it confussing the hell out of me. Anyhoo, I am looking at a colour change too, but nothing too dramatic. Depending on what the bill from HUK will be when I finally get my car back, I too was VERY tempted with the metallic Lime Green colour, but I am pretty much set on changing from Sebring Silver to Kaiser Silver.

Fingers crossed, all my plans for my car will be ready for SSC next year.

I think Kaiser or Silverstone would be a good choice of colour Jim.

I think Kaiser or Silverstone would be a good choice of colour Jim.

I've just had a look at Silverstone Metalic. Maybe it's my monitor is not great , but i can't see much difference between Silverston and Kaiser. I'd have to see them together to see the difference.

I definately want to go a little bit darker than the Sebring Silver, so I though Kaiser would be the way to go.

Cheers

Jim, Kaiser or Silverstone silver with Black roof always look great on the pop up models ... both need bright silver alloys IMO. They are close, Kaiser being the darker of the two ... see below, Silverstone then Kaiser NSX-R to give you an idea. Id suggest you do the engine bay black and if not planning on painting the front bay you could also go black and it not look out of place.
If youre thinking of a rear wing in the future then maybe black the mirrors at the time of painting.

Look forward to seeing the results, rgds Paul

Thanks Paul,

I still think the 2 colours are pretty close, it may be a flip of a coin to choose which one.

I didn't give much thought to the engine bay/front end, but I will probably go for a satin black.

As for a spoiler, I already have a CF NSX-R spoiler on, which at the moment needs a new clear coat as its turning a bit white around the edges.

Alloys, I have a "new set of 17s" on my car now (new meaning new to me and in need of a bit of a re-furb).

Once I get my car back from HUK, and after I get my heart re-started after finding out how much the bill will be, I'll start a thread in the Builds section, as I am completely stripping out the interior and starting from scratch, everything from re upholstery of the seats, matching door inserts, new leather trim in parts (a-pillar, arm rest, gear gaiter, handbrake cover) dying carpet from dirty grey to black (well can't put my nice new mats onto a horrible dirty carpet) new steering wheel, with what I hope to be a novel way of still incorporating the Cruise Control system.

Then it will be body work time, trying to get all my front end panels looking better, and then FINALLY it will be re-spray time after all that.

It's going to be a busy year!!!

Cheers,

Jim

I am back DAAAN SAAARF, Well back in BUckinhamshire, RAF Halton, near Aylesbury. But at the moment, both my cars are up North, (RRS went in for MoT and needed a few bits and bobs done), The NSX it with my local Honda Dealer in Edinburgh. As it's been off the road a while, decided to bite the bullet and get the cambelt and water pump service done before I do any more long trips in it, and of course it need an MoT (god knows what they will find wrong with it this year).

Plus point, is that this base has a good motor club, 5 working bays indoors, 2 sets of hydraulic ramps, and every conceivable tool I would ever need (where was that when I had to do the clutch???)

Apart from all that, it's a good feeling to be getting stuck into the NSX again, the poor thing has been redundant for so long, fingers crossed I can get it all done for July next year.

Cheers
Jim
