Cleaning out the garage a bit, so i've got for sale;

The ScienceofSpeed Billet Oil Pump Gearset is designed to replace the factory cast gears to improve the engine's durability. The factory oil pump gears can shatter under heavy duty use.

The gearset is machined from billet 17-4 hardened stainless steel. Heat treating is used for increased hardness in up to 160 MPa. Gearset is precision machined to .0005" for exacting tolerance.

Because most used factory oil pump housings will have wear and scratches from use (resulting in less than ideal gear to housing clearances) ScienceofSpeed produces a gear that is .060" thicker than the factory gear. This has two benefits: the housing is machined to produce a fresh surface and the increased diameter results in increased flow.

The assembled unit includes a new oil pump seal and a modified relief spring that increases oil pressure by approximately 10 psi.

Power Slot rotors are finished in a durable black e-coat on the hat, edges and internal vanes to prevent corrosion. The braking surfaces are left in a bare iron finish to improve brake pad bed-in.
