After this years Lemans meeting we believe it's time to "raise the bar" for 2014. At Lemans we received quite some input on what went "wrong" this year. This was very valuable info that both Dimer and me (Bas) have taken into account when looking at a program for 2014. Below you will find a provisional program for 2014, why provisional? Because we have to await the 2014 track calender which will be released in December by all tracks to make sure there are no major events. But we will make it definite ASAP!

The Program:

16th of may:
14:00 Start of the meeting at Circuit Spa Francorchamps Belgium (time to catch up and shake hands)
15:00: VIP tour of the Circuit, (paddock zones, Pitlanes, Boxes, Media centre etc. etc.)
17:00: Check in at "Hotel La Source" http://www.hotel-de-la-source.com/en/hotel/presentation
19:00: Dinner at Hotel La Source
21:30: Time to hit the hotel bar

17th of may:
09:00: Start of a "navigated" drive to the Nurburgring through the Eiffel (in both a tour and sport group)
11:30: Arrival at the Nurburgring, "track safety training / driving tips" from multple podium / VLN winner Stefan Wolflick (a nurburgring veteran)
13:00: Short lunch (this is final yet)
13:45: Time to hit the Nordschleife (touristenfahrten), please note this is at own risk / costs. Stefan Wolflick is available to join you giving you live driving tips at extra costs (TBA).
18:30: Check in at Dorint hotel Nurburgring (located at the start finish of the GP track)
19:00: Dinner at Dorint hotel Nurburgring (or a local restaurant located near the ring)
21:00: Awards will be given out as we did this year at Lemans
21:30: Time to hit the hotel bar and exchange your Nurburgring experience with fellow owners

18th Of May:
09:00: Start of a "navigated" drive to Hondafest Venlo, taking your again through the Eiffel and over the German Autobahn (1 stretch with no speed limit)
11:00: Arrival at Hondafest, a big Honda event (which had a great kickoff last year) with Souly Honda Enthusiasts. Last year they had a record amount of Type R's that gathered there. All NSX'es will get a centre spot at the meeting.
????: End of the meeting where everybody can go their own way.

Currently the above is still to be confirmed, but we sure hope you like the provisional program. We have currently asked all Hotel's / restaurants to give us package deals on meals / rooms and we will get you a "Package price" ASAP. Looking at costs we are trying to keep costs at around € 199,00 per person (being based on 2 people per car). This includes Hotel rooms (with breakfast), VIP tour at Spa, Nurburgring track safety / tips course, Entry to Hondafest Venlo and Diner on both evenings.

To get an accurate number of attendee's we would like to ask you to fill out an RSVP here:

Well done for the pre -planning ... any thoughts on an actual track session at Spa?
(assume this is happening but schedule dates yet tbc by track)
Defo food for thought for me

Trackday on Spa is high on the list, and we are awaiting info from Spa, the only real issue there is insurance and renting the track.
It will cost around € 12000,00 to rent it for a day, but insurance etc etc pushes the price up. And at Lemans there where only 4 track drivers.

So yes we are looking into it, but it can probably only be done in combination with another party. (which we are in contact with to see if we can make it happen)

I thought Spa would be £££s to hire.

An alternative that I have come across (we do a lot of driving work in Belgiun) is Circuit Mettet (http://www.circuit-mettet.be/). It's a lot cheaper but it isn't Spa, that's for sure! And as Bas says, it needs a few people to commit to drive on the circuit.

could be a potential trip as its my 40th year :)

I'm a very keen maybe for this. Annoyingly though, the only thing in my diary for 2014 is Japan for 2 weeks from the 19th! That date's not set in stone yet, so I'll see if it's moveable.

Good to see all the positive reactions on here, as said the trackday at Spa is high on the list we are awaiting Spa's confirmation on this. We looked into alternatives like Mettet and Zolder, but really they don't offer the magic and scenery of Spa. Furthermore not the driving roads, as i can tell you from experience driving from Spa to the Nurburgring is a track on it's own.

We already have had 9 people sign up, for those that want to attend please fill out the RSVP here so we can get accurate numbers for booking hotel's and the tours. It can be filled out here, please also add your email so we can also email you the info!

I'm provisionally up for it, assuming I can get one of my mates to ride shotgun. Thinking about Hull- Zeebrugge Thurs-Fri (long sailing with easy start in the morning, so plenty of time to recover from a long night in the bar) then maybe Amsterdam - Newcastle Sun-Mon (reasoning as before). Sailed from Hull last year en route to Le Mans (TVR Tuscan co-driver), worked very well given that we'll be coming down from near Glasgow, cuts out a lot of UK motorway driving for those of us who survive out in the styx . Just in case anyone else might wish to consider something similar - the more, the merrier...

Hmmm...our anniversary weekend. Would like to, but need to work out a way to avoid divorce...

Track time at Spa - would be good, but as above, wouldn't want a whole day, assuming that is I can sweet-talk Becs into not divorcing me! An exclusive NSX-session or two would be good (4-mile track...can probably fit 25 cars in one session without it feeling crowded).

Dorint Hotel - know it's right by the GP-Strecke, but isn't that the one owned by the idiots who caused all the current problems and tried to drive local (long-established) businesses under by tying hotel / food / TF passes all together? If so, couldn't we talk nicely to e.g. Pistenklause or one of the other larger locally-owned hotels?

Quick question - I'm sorting insurance out this week, and struggling with N'ring cover.

Does anyone still have 'ring cover with their policy (for TF days not trackdays), or can still arrange it separately (inc 3P cover!!!)??? If so, please let me know which broker / underwriter.

Thanks,

As an alternative for the Nurburgring hotel we are looking into "Hotel am Tiergarten" (hotel owned by the parents of Sabine Schmitz). Getting insurance coverage for te Nurburgring is next to impossible, furthermore you should note that if you are insured you can be 99% sure they won't pay up. As after every accident the police does an investigation, if it shows you where speeding (yes it has no speed limit but all speeds above 120 kph are marked as speeding) you won't get anything!

We hope to give you guys an update asap, but currently we have to await the track calendars!

Everitt Boles might cover Nurburgring, with a max payout of £30k.

Hi Guys,

Time for an update! We have been very busy lately and currently are awaiting confirmation from http://www.spa-classic.com/. They are organising a big meeting in the same weekend.
We are trying to get a "club parking" for friday, and yes all you track addicts there are 2 track sessions of 25 minutes on friday (€ 90,00 per session, 1 advanced, 1 beginner).

Regarding Hotels, because of this event it's hard to book a stay for the friday night near the track. So we are looking into (affordable) alternatives.

We will update again asap!

Best regards Bas

We most probably have the Hotels sorted. Bas and I will visit both Hotels next weekend and we'll explore the routes we have set out. Expect some twisty roads and sloped hairpins through the Eifel National Park, combined with high speed runs on the German Autobahn.

REGISTER NOW FOR THE NSX CLUB EUROPE TOUR 2014

NSX Club Europe Tour 2014 We are happy to announce the final program for the NSX Club Europe tour 2014. The event will be held from the 16th of may until the 18th of may 2014. After extensive planning and scouting we have come up with the following program:

Day 1: Start of the meeting,
Venue: Spa Francorchamps
Program: 10:00 To kick off the meeting, we are attending the Spa Classic. An event where you can walk around the paddocks, and even book some tracktime on this legendary circuit. The Spa Classic is an event born in 2011. It has grown in stature, experience and maturity! It reminds us of the heroic machines of another era with their mighty surges of horsepower and the roar of their engines as the Classic Endurance Racing, Sixties’ Endurance and Trofeo Nastro Rosso cars plunge down into Eau Rouge before accelerating up the Raidillon. Homage is paid to this temple of endurance racing, which hosts the famous Spa-Francorchamps 24 Hours for Touring Cars, with the new Heritage Touring Cup born from the success met by the Touring car grid at the Spa-Classic. Furthermore you can catch up with fellow enthusiast and enjoy the scenery.

* Track time can be pre booked on Friday, € 90,00 (25 minute session, skilled or beginner)

http://nsxclubeurope.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/moezel.jpg

16:00 Time to head for the Hotel. For the weekend we have selected a beautiful 4 star Hotel in Luxemburg. This hotel is centrally placed between the venues we are going to visit. This 4 star hotel has an air cooled underground parking garage. The access has no bumps, holes or nasty ramps.
19:30 At the hotel’s restaurant a 3 course meal will be served,
** APPETIZERS Salmon tartar with estragon or Chicken salad with chili pepper or Vegetable gazpacho
** MAIN COURSES Catfish filet with fresh parsley or Grilled turkey steak with tomatoes or Ravioli with spinach and ricotta cheese
** DESSERTS Pannacotta or Fresh fruit salad

Time to hit the bar!

Day 2: Put on your driving shoes!
Venue: Mosel area / Eifel / Nurburgring
Program: 08:00 – 09:30 After a good night sleep breakfast will be served in the hotel restaurant.
10:00 After a tank stop in Luxemburg (€ 1,32 for 1L of Euro 98 fuel) it’s time to head towards the legendary Nurburgring, we have set a scenic challenging route, 225 km long. So prepare yourself for narrow b roads, hair pins and amazing views! 14:00 Arrival at the legendary Nurburgring, on the 17th there will be a “VLN championship” race at the Nurburgring. We will arrive at one of the best “viewing points” at the ring. Where you can enjoy the action of the race, eat a nice “bratwurst”.

16:30 The race has now finished, time to head back to the Hotel in Luxemburg. We have set a route over the “Autobahn”, with some “unlimited areas”. The first one to arrive back at the hotel will receive a small prize ☺. Even though there are no maximum speeds, please keep it safe!
19:00 A buffet style dinner will be served at the hotel restaurant,
** APPETIZERS • Luxemburgish cooked ham • Smoked ham • Turkey breast • Cooked eggs filled with tuna • Fresh salads of the season
** MAIN DISHES • Simmered pork with basil page • Ling with a white wine sauce • Basmati rice • Courgettes with olive oil
** DESSERTS • Milk Chocolate Mousse • Floating island with fresh almonds • Strawberry Smoothie

* We have made sure that there will be no Russians at the buffet stealing the nice desserts like they often do in the holiday resorts ;-).

Time to hit the bar again!

Day 3: Time to show off that NSX!
Venue: Venlo Netherlands / Nurburgring
Program: For this day we have 2 options, everybody is free to decide which option they want to use.
Option 1: 07:00 – 08:15 After a good night sleep an breakfast will be served in the hotel restaurant. 08:30 Time to head to www.hondafest.eu (http://www.hondafest.eu) one of the biggest Honda meetings in Europe, where they have reserved a spot especially for the NSX Club Europe. We have set a route taking you over the German Autobahn and there are various unlimited area’s. Because it is Sunday morning the roads will be nice and empty ☺. 11:30 Arrival at Hondafest, where you can explore the event, chat with fellow owners, enjoy a good lunch and make some nice pictures. This will also be the “end” of the program for the 2014 meeting. As people have to travel quite far we have kept the program “short” on the Sunday.

Option 2: 07:00 – 09:30 After a good night sleep an breakfast will be served in the hotel restaurant. 10:00 Yes yes, we can already hear the track guys moaning, why can’t we drive the Nurburgring on Saturday… That’s why we have a second option in the program. On Sunday “Touristenfahrten” are planned. We have set a quick route to the Nurburgring where everybody can enjoy a lap on the Nordschleife. (€ 27,00 per lap). This will also be the “end” of the program for the 2014 meeting. As people have to travel quite far we have kept the program “short” on the Sunday.

Prices:
Car with 2 people attending the weekend: € 249,00 per person
Car with 1 person attending the weekend: € 299,00

We are currently seeking “event sponsors” to get the event price down. When we reach the registration of 15 cars everybody will receive € 15,00 discount, when we reach more then 25 cars entering everybody will receive € 25,00 discount on the prices above!

What’s included?
– 2 night stay at a 4 star Hotel in Luxemburg incl. breakfast, wifi, and wellness.
– Parking in the hotel’s parking garage.
– 2 diners at the Hotel.
– Entry ticket, Spa Classic
– Entry ticket, Honda fest
– Polo shirt + sticker “NSX Club Europe Tour”
– Roadbook – Prize giveaway
– Event coverage by 2 photographers
– Loads of driving, nice routes, scenery.

To summarize it, an “Epic Weekend”.

What’s not included?
– Drinks at the hotel bar/restaurant, everybody will get a “card” which has to be paid when you leave the bar/restaurant.
– Fuel, but luckily being in Luxemburg the fuel price is very low (€ 1,32 per liter) cigarettes are also very cheap compared to other countries in Europe.
– Speeding tickets, Germany is a very “tolerant” country towards spirited driving, we do have to point out that if there is a “100 kph’s sign” that you should definitely not drive faster!

To register,
Please click the below link and fill out the below form. Once we receive your entry we will send you payment details. – We require a non refundable deposit of € 75,00 (per person) before 01-03-2014. – The remainder (depending on the number of attendee’s) will have to be paid before the 01-04-2014.

Registration closes on the 1st of april.

Nobby,
I've done both routes to the Continent.
The tunnel is certainly a very effective way of crossing (did it last year on the freight route - me and another mate in among the big boys with a LWB Sprinter packed full of bikes, while the other 16 guys used planes, trains and automobiles to get to the French Alps). Just a totally forgettable experience in itself.
We used the Hull - Zeebrugge ferry service en route to and from Le Mans two years ago and I felt it added to the trip - reasonable food on board, plus plenty of time in the bar both nights without having to get up too early the following morning...
Cost-wise not too bad either - a quick check suggests ~ £325 return with P&O for car, driver and passenger, including twin berth cabins and all food. Leaving from Hull saves me 150+ miles each way of boring British Motorways, plus we would still likely do B&B somewhere near Folkestone if using the Tunnel or any of the shorter ferry crossings.

Hi Andrew

cheers for response, but for me the most direct route is for me to head to Dublin, get ferry to Holyhead, then drive to tunnel and then head over to Belgium. It's around 750m in total ...

maybe some of the more southern Engerland owners may fancy a meet up.

would need to price the hull ferry up etc before making a more decisive decision

As i work in the UK i travel quite a bit between the Netherlands and the UK. I usually use the Eurotunnel, as simply it's quickest / cheapest option most of the time.
You would be looking at around £ 75,00 for a single journey, biggest advantage is that the crossing only takes 35 minutes.

Edit: Forgot the biggest upside, no high ramps etc etc to get on for people with a lowered NSX!

I am hoping to make this event but am less certain that before due to 'unforseen circumstances' - it will probably be March before I can commit. I can guarantee that anyone who does go, will have a great time.

For those contemplating Eurotunnel, have a look at using any Tesco Clubcard vouchers you might have: they were worth 3:1 last summer, so a £180 crossing cost me £60 in vouchers.

I was hoping to attend this event and looking forward to a European trip but unfortunatly some personal circumstances will mean I would not be able to commit until the last minute which is probably going to mean I won't be able to book in :( Olly

We can always try to book 1 or 2 people in latest 31st of april..

But we need to confirmation to pre book / pre pay the hotel / venues At the special group rates.

Just checked out going by tunnel. Only £98 return (out Friday morning, back Sunday afternoon). However, ~550miles more motorway driving (UK & Europe) plus 2 nights accommodation & food. So, for me at least, the overnight ferry crossing still looks the best option.
Convoys are always good fun though.

I am definitely interested for sure, but not just ready to pull the trigger ... wife off on maternity leave means less funds in the kitty (esp this month) and need to get work done to car prior to heading off.

But if a good contingent is heading from UK happy to meet up with those heading for the tunnel and convoying over to the meet.

If you need a room for your kids that you want to take to the event we can book a connecting room for them, at € 198,00 we can book a children's room for 2 kids including breakfast and dinner!
For all you jokers, no you can't book a children's room if your over 12 years old....

I've got the go-ahead for this now from the wife! :D Just need to find the money...

Ref. the track time, I've seen on the Spa Classic website that there's two sessions of "up to 80 cars" each. Is this your understanding?

I need to check with my insurer if I'm covered...do you know if the track time is being organised by the Circuit themselves or by the organisers of the Spa Classic (and do we know who they are, if different to the Circuit)? Would be very nice to do a few laps of Spa, even if it will be a little busy on there...

The track session is part of the Spa Classic.

It will indeed be quite busy on the track, but luckily Spa is a very long track. I won't expect to set some records, but just enjoy driving Spa Franchorchamps.

Still thinking about it.

Will see how I feel over the next week or so.

Indeed, subject to getting a pass out (from my wife who is currently looking after me superbly, driving me round etc) and getting the OK to drive, I'll be there! Can't confirm for a few weeks, but am in touch with Bas who knows the score.

If you're dithering....don't, just get signed up. The European guys are great fun and after all, we buy these cars to drive them, not sit and look at them/congratulate ourselves on how much they have gone up in value (haven't we?).

We are very proud to announce that the “pre registration” has closed and we have 25 NSX teams joining the tour in May. Because of this reason all Pre-Entry’s will receive a € 25,00 Euro discount on their entry fee’s.

The following teams have entered:

- Bas & Evelien, NA1 Yellow, The Netherlands
- Dimer & Jeroen, NA1 Red, The Netherlands
- Eric & Sonja, NA2 White, Belgium
- Jone & Jone, NA1 Red, Norway
- Sandro, NA1 Red, Croatia

- Michael & TBA, NA2 Purple, UK
- Marinko, NA2 Yellow, Germany
- Joop, NA2 Red, The Netherlands

As you can see a true “European” starting field! We are also very proud that we have “Team Japan” entering. Hirofumi Tomiyoshi chairman of the NSX Club of Japan is bringing fellow enthusiasts Toshihasa Tajima, Shigeru Miyano and Yoshimitsy Ishii. We are currently trying to arrange transport with a rental from Honda. Further we would like to ask the people that are driving solo to take them on a passenger ride to give them the “full experience” of the tour. We are also looking into a “technical response vehicle” to solve any mishaps (which obviously don’t happen, but if they do can be sorted by an experienced Honda mechanic (the vehicle will also carry a small amount of spares and tools.

If you unfortunately where to late to enter in the pre registration, you can still contact us and we will try our best to Book the hotels / Venues. Please send us an email on info@nsxclubeurope.com.

I'm now 'in the show'! Doctor gave me the all clear to drive yesterday, so the NSX is coming out of hibernation for a service/MOT at Norton Way, and wash next week. Bas has very kindly kept a space open for me - well done pal.

My plan is to travel over early Thursday am on Eurotunnel and spend the day at my Brussels office (so I can cunningly disguise the trip as a business one ;-). I'll stay the the Novotel Brussels airport if anyone wants to meet up, in prep for the run up in to the Ardennes on the Friday morning.

Look forward to seeing the UK and European guys and gals, some from last year and some new. I'm pleased to see a good UK turnout this year - according to my calcs we are 7 - giving the Flatlanders (10) a run for their money!

I'm on the 13.20 tunnel on the Thurs lunchtime.

Currently planning on visiting Ypres for a few hours (may stay for the 8pm ceremony), then hitting a hotel in mid-Belgium for the night, so I've only got 60-90mins to get to Spa. Very happy to join-up with others that afternoon/evening if you're around. Have already done some research on hotels, plus Bas sent me a link last week, so got a couple of ideas but nothing booked yet. Budget's tight this year so would prefer a mid-level hotel if possible...if it's >€100 a night it's almost worth going straight to Luxembourg and checking into the main place, time permitting.

Andrew, if you are still interested in a track drive, try Everitt Boles:http://www.everittboles.com/. They will cover you but I have no idea how much they will charge. It would be a pity to miss the track session. With a maximum of 80 cars on track I suspect it will be a bit of a parade but it will be a good opportunity for a hoon about on the circuit.

Hi mate

i am no track demon or experienced racer ... But I implore you to just go when u have the chance. Spa would be a fab experience in the NSX. Don't be worrying about being out there any track day I have been on there is good instruction etc. Just take your time and get the feel for the car. No one is expecting u to rip up the track.

i went to the ring, had a blast over. 10 laps. Yeah I was all over the shop but hey I kept it safe when others did not and pushed the car hard.

if ur doing this trip don't give up the chance to drive spa! I for one would love to.

btw I have never had any insurance cover on any of my days. Just keep ur head and u will be fine

I'm sort-of with Andrew on this one...if you can arrange it so you get the opportunity, do so...it's Spa! But with a few caveats...

- There'll be up to 80 cars of mixed pace and ability, so you're not going to have much chance to go 10/10ths for long anyway.
- Insurance might be a good thing - you might be driving at 8/10ths, but if one of the others is going 11/10ths and cocks up...
- If your insurance won't cover you, Competition Car Insurance will - part of Footman James now. Think the typical policy is still a "by value" policy (i.e. you pick how much cover you want vis-a-vis likely repair costs), with a 10% excess...so not perfect, but would be a good disaster-avoidance plan.

All that said, if the cost for those 25mins gets too high, then it might not be worth it, esp. if you're running the risk of traffic en-route. Make a couple of calls first, then decide...

Thanks for the feedback guys.
Not so bothered about my own driving, more concerned about being whacked by someone else (obviously not another NSX driver).
I've contacted Everitt Boles anyway to obtain a quotation - will let you know how I get on. Might give Competition Car Insurance a go as well.
Reminds me of a story I heard at Le Mans a couple of years ago. Guy took his F355 to Spa with a mate, who managed to wrap it. Still driveable but almost every panel dented. A very long drive home - you can only say sorry so many times. Mate paid the excess, told his wife it was £500 (actually £5k).

Chaps, Don't forget to tell your insurance company that you are taking your car out of the country - you have to inform them before you go, otherwise they will not cover you in the unfortunate event of an accident.

For the people that cannot make the pre meet at the shell station we'll provide you with contact details so you can ring me or Dimer 30 mins prior to arriving and we will be at the gate with the tickets.
We also debated sending them to the UK by post, but seeing the postal system is not the best / we are on a tight budget the above option seems the best.

I'm happy to save people's dinner, it's a buffet style dinner the 2nd night. We can maybe look into pushing the dinner to 8 o clock....

Until now;

Gary, didn't realise that you were coming, good news. Are you going for one of the awards with your car ;-)

Not many up for a trip round the 'ring? To my mind, going there and not driving it is a bit like having sex using a rubber glove as a condom! But I appreciate that it's a risk: no way even Competition Car Insurance will cover that run out......

I doubt that we'll reach Spa much before midday either.
No problems with dinner at 8pm.
Hondafest for us, can't remember though if I confirmed this previously.

Hi Rob,

yes going now but it was only a late decision at the start of this week. I'm no car polisher so not sure what "award"!!

I've been around the 'ring a good few times in the past.... In the NSX as well as other cars. There's always a first time for a mistake and I hate condoms!! I've chanced my luck so far in life ;-) Seriously though, I've got a slot for Spa and at least CCI cover that track. I've been there but never driven it. Like a lot of people, I am a "most excellent driver" and it's all the others I worry about :-p If it's raining cats and dogs I may bug out. After all the time, cost and effort I've put into my car I find it kind of irreplaceable. I'm not scared to use it by any means but just want to limit the unnecessary risks...

If I don't do the track sessions myself I will offer it to someone else on the day...

I'm also doing Spa track session but not N'ring...for the same reason - insurance!

That said, I was toying with visiting the 'ring on Sunday just to see what was there / what was running...not quite a several-hundred Honda meet, but more variety perhaps...

For those of us getting the 7:20 eurotunnel from Folkstone, can I suggest we meet at the Maidstone services on the M20 (Junction 8) at 6:20am, for a departure of 6:30 and arrive at eurotunnel for 6:45, giving 35 minutes to get the 7:20.

If you think this is not enough time then happy to meet earlier.

Looking good!

For those of us with old-tech satnavs (esp. those on our own), does the roadbook have GPS coords for the waypoints in it? I could do with pre-programming a series of waypoints each morning then moving from one to the next as we drive...

Cheers,

Martin.

Hi Martin,

No fancy GPS driving, but good old navigated driving. We will make groups of 5+ cars and we will make sure that the ones driving on their own will be in a group with navigated drivers.
But if people get lost we have of course put the address in of the end point, so they can drive there.

Best regards Bas

Well, I'm back! The rest of the UK crew went off to Hondafest today, but I headed back via the Ardennes and Spa, glad I did as I'm absolutely knackered. 1127 miles since Thursday (450 today). The guys going via Venlo and coming back tonight must be beat. As of this morning all the cars seemed to be running perfectly - just one clutch release bearing failure at Spa on one Dutch car.

Great fun weekend, good to meet up with the European contingent and the 4 Japanese guys. I took one of them over to Nurburgring yesterday and he was full of information. Weather couldn't have been better, just needed some suncream!

I'm a bit low on pics as I'm a rubbish photographer and fundamentally lazy. I'm sure more will come along!

Well done Bas and Dimer - great work you guys did.

What a weekend, set off at 5:50am on Friday (this was late compared to others) and arrived at Spa about midday to meet up with our fellow European colleagues who gave as a warm welcome. Well I can highly recommend the Spa Classic, you could get right upto the cars and track and nobody in yellow hi-vis saying you not allowed in there! But the best of show (well noise) was the Mazda 787B, what a car!
Then off to our Hotel in Luxumbourg and very nice it was too. Saturday morning/afternoon was a wonderful drive along the River Mosel to the Ring, (well for the ones that made it ;)) then a quick drive back to the hotel along some derestricted autobahns to see how fast your car could go.
Sunday was off to Hondafest in Venlo in convoy of approx 30 NSX's, this was a great site! (Papa you would of loved Hondafest).

Anyway a very big thankyou to Bas and Dimer, it was a wonderful weekend, but also a thankyou to everybody else as well for making it such a success and a very good weekend! I hope you all got home OK (with the exception of flying sniffer ;))

I had a great time this weekend! It was amazing to see so many people coming to this event. I think I can also speak for Bas if I say that I'm both proud and happy to see so many smiling faces the whole weekend.

this photo shows off the compact tightly packaged proportions of the NSX so well ... just look how big the exige next to you looks!

What are we doing tomorrow night? The same thing we do every night. Try and take over the world!

Hi Everyone,

http://www.nsxcb.co.uk/content.php?79-NSX-at-25-2015-at-Silverstone

I wanted to bring this to your attention. Next year the NSX we all know and love turns 25 yrs of age. On the back of another successful weekend at Silverstone (3 day event we have attended for the past 3/4 yrs), the organisers have asked if we would like to put on an extra special display of the NSX, together with track display parade around this most famous circuit at next years event.

The link Ive posted will take to the post where we are guaging early interest so that we can work with the Silverstone Organisers to ensure we have a good display area and good track access for the parade, likely to be on the Saturday.

If you would like to join us, please add your name to the list and we really hope you can join us for what has always been a great event each year.

Thank you, Paul
