Goodwood festival of speed 2013 supercar parking... saturday

with the NSX qualifying for supercar parking, and being pretty much the ONLY way you can get your car into the FOS show without an invitation, I entered my car! found 2 others in there.....

in would have been nicer if i hadn't had to follow 2 motorbikes up the dustiest road/track in the known universe! it was like driving through very thick fog! fortunately i had my California duster with me! just as well, as i know kids LOVE writing in dust on cars!

just a shame i found a hotel right opposite the pier at southsea (portsmouth) which was lovely, but frm that side had horrendous traffic that took 2 1/2 hrs instead of the theoretical 35 mins! ....know that for next time, find somewhere north or east of goodwood!

as always one of the last to leave! (we stay to see the rich and famous arrive at the ball, and bitch about some of the hideous dresses!! lol)

on the way home we passed a NSX in a garage in pulborough having a powerwash... so a quick turn round and stop to say hello! it would be rude not to! a very tidy '91

turns out it was a gent from Luxemburg with a car on display at FOS! he'd driven over for the show, and was driving back... all on a day visit!

BTW your nearside (uk) tail light was out, but it did mean we could pick you out as you disappeared into the distance on the M23!!!

I have pictures of this car that I took some 15 years ago at Le Mans during a pit stop, I was directly above their garage at the time. I would post the photos but they were taken with a good old film camera, and hell knows where the photos are now!
