Guess he missed the one selling in Ireland for £18,000 - but a hopeful article if you are thinking of your treasured NSX as an investment rather than something fun to drive and enjoy.

The best NSX investment will come good when the person who now has the "NSX 1" numberplate sells it after the 2nd gen NSX is launched. :)

Interesting article Ewan.

I don't suppose it will keep the naysayers quiet for a minute. However, it'll be interesting to see where prices go in the next few years. If cars from Japan continue to be 30-50% more expensive that their UK counterparts. I can't see the RHD NSX market going south anytime soon.
Additionally, there are many potential owners who want a 'UK' car. I know it makes no difference really. But there it is.
Another factor which is strongly in the Honda's favour is perceived running costs. Owners of 90's Ferrari's eventually get jacked off with the high expense of running their cars. 8-10K bills for low mileage, well cared for cars is ridiculous.

The NSX continues to grow in popularity in the specialist market, and with will no doubt gain greater popularity once the new car is released and people realise it bares no resemblance to the original concept.

Anyway, I guess we'll see.

Cheers.

Probably why some are collecting them by the arm full. Ho ho.

Better to stick one's hard-earned into aluminium than tatty green IOUs, I maintain.

Actually I CGAF about such bragging rights - other than a bit of tongue-in-cheek underdogitis at the expense of the marque with the poncing horse...
