What new battery?

Hi folks. I need a new battery. As technology has moved on since the car was built and the manual written, can the collective forum wisdom recommend the best type / make to replace please? If anything,retaining charge for a long time would be nice as i canot currently getnthe car on a conditioner. Thank you.

Just buy it from Honda dealer, very well priced too.

I bought one last month from Honda, I had to wait a few days for it to come in from Belgium and it was £59 with a 10% discount they gave me. If you buy it from Honda at least you know it will fit, I believe the battery for auto and manual are different.
