Hi,
was just browsing the Pistonheads website and saw a 51-reg light Blue Honda NSX done 27k 3.2 Manual was up at £27950 (Seems very cheap) however as I clicked into the ad it wouldnt upload so I reckon the seller has deleted it as it may have sold VERY quickly as the ad was only showing 1 hour old...!!
Anyone else see it?

Didn't see that one? Not too many in blue either! If that was the price, it may have been picked up by a dealer.

Noticed the JDM, yellow custom order car, is back up forsale though.

Hopefully a fortunate and well timed private purchaser ... there are several lurking at present

I agree! More so as its a rare color, can't be too many in the UK.

I really hope you are right Paul.

However, if it has been bought by a stealer, I'll be fascinated to see what this one gets re-listed at!

It beggars belief that people advertise cars without researching prices first. I mean the yellow car's just below for £17K more! I'm not getting it.

Cheers.

Not keen enough as they should have bought this before the dealer .....

If it is the same dealer with the Yellow one then I know which one I would value higher ....

It's the dealer that bought the red CAT D facelift car from Over here Paul.

Hi there, I didn't realise A11 XGX was JDM. How does one tell.

Just a quick bump on this car, but does anyone know much about it? I may be interested.

I get the feeling this is one of those cars that isn't really know too well to the club, probably owned by someone thats just not interested in car forums/clubs etc. there are 2 cars like that over here and very rarely seen out.

Is a shame the forum history does not go back that long. Is this the one that was for sale in 2006? Simonprelude had a list of sorts.

It's been reduced in price 3 or 4 times by that dealer, so you may get some more off if you make an offer.

Not one that is overly well known before this thread, however that isn't to say its not a good example.

As you've read this thread you know what the bargaining room is, but even as currently advertised its good value for one of the last pop-ups. As this and the facelift are at the same dealer you could compare back to back if you've not driven an NSX recently. Mechanically they will be almost identical (ABS system may be different). Its then down to two things, is this a car you're looking to keep and which style you prefer.

Best of luck, follow the buyers thread from the home page and you can print off the checklist ... gives you a structure to your purchase and helps prevent the heart taking charge!

Let us know how you get on ....

regards, Paul

Thanks paul, obviously I know the rough margins they're working with but I suspect if they're wiling to purchase a car outright they'll be willing to sit on it until they see their cut.

Shame I never saw it come up for sale originally but I only superficially look at the for sale ads as I often get sick of nothing I fancy turning up!

£35k is too much for me but we'll see what they say, by the way, can you post up a link of the buyers guide you mentioned?

Mechanically they will be almost identical (ABS system may be different)l

ABS will be the the latest version, so the same as on the facelift car.

Cragswinter,

Here is where to look for basic info - (http://www.nsxcb.co.uk/showthread.php?688-Want-to-buy-an-NSX-Start-here-please) the buyer's guide and other things are liked from here.

I used to live just 5 miles from this - if I was still there I would be test driving both the blue pop-up and the red facelift, just to get an idea of the difference between the two. Interestingly, neither car is on the garage website (http://www.pinegarage.co.uk/) - but are on Autotrader...

I would imagine that you could secure the blue car for a grand or two less than the asking price once you are armed with all the knowledge that the NSXCB can give you - hopefully you can secure the car within your budget. Good luck.

If it isn't sold before I next come back to the UK, I'll be heading back to my old home for a nose around......
