From what I have read etc, it seems strangely legal to do that ??

If that's true i'm sooooo doing later!

James.

P.s, although I suppose that as ugly as the number plate is, it does protect the paintwork.

I don't think you're allowed to have a plate at any angle. This one we have is illegal so i can't see yours being ok!

What colour is your NSX Martin?

Out of interest how does everyone get their light to stay 'popped' without them being on...I fell like I'm missing out on something here?

I don't think you can do that with the lights, the electrics were just being fiddled about with! Might be wrong though...

The wheels are from Image. They are called 'Billet 86P.'

http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/pages/wheels_billet.html

As you can see compared to the photo on their site, the NSX's inner wheel comes out a lot further to accomodate the bigger brakes. You can choose whatever dimensions you like.

Cheers,

-Rob

I've seen it on loads of pics on here before so it must be doable! Maybe I'll create a thread for it though instead of hijacking Martin's!

Thanks.

stick on plates are illegal now... probably because hand held speed cameras are sighted on them and they're not refective/prismatic enough! and we all thought we just had to be able to read the letters... I was trying to get a stick-on one from Halfrauds, but it's now illegal for them to sell them!

PS. X626BLB... glad you found the light button, you should now be also able to dim your dash lights, and play TCS! :D

All that you ever wanted to know about number plates is on the dvla's website, snapply addressed at dvla.gov.uk; see the Q&A section.
Are stick on number plates legal; NO. The plate must meet BS requirements, dvla not aware of any self adhesive plates that are able to meeet that requirement. (BS Au145d)
Plates must be mounted; vertically or, where that is not reasonably practable, in a position as close to vertical as reasonably practable.
Hence in my own case, a stick on number just above the H badge!
