Good stuff, I've not seen that before either. I like the way they sneaked through Frankfurt REALLY early in the morning so that no one noticed them :D You could tell that the rear tyres were going off (too hot) towards the end of the lap as the car got increasingly oversteer'y. Probably why they went to wider rear tyres from 1994.

The related link (by same person) is new to me as well. Love the undressed body (or is it just painted silver ;)) and suspension section at 1min 56 secs... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gE3tQnb9PuI&feature=relmfu

Cheers

Very old video but still one of my favourite one so I actually carry the full length version on my mobile phone. Released in late 1990 as a VHS video tape and not on DVD. Some of the owners visited my place watched it while having lunch at my place.

The driver (Ohi-san) simply misjudged the corner R and spun off, the day before Gan-san was driving. Not easy to image training every single corners at the Old course.

Ohi-san was the deputy chief editor of Best Motoring at that time and then turned into professional driver later.

Thats a brilliant video! I love the contrast of the sleepy city & then the high speeds around the Ring!

He was certainly carrying a lot of speed throughout much of the lap. Much respect to the talent behind the wheel. Always nice to see them driven properly.
